A freedive underwater movie about the quest for the mineral Kimberlite under the frozen sea at East Greenland. Years ago, when I first saw a stone in an iceberg while diving, I was fascinated. I thought „if this stone tells us a story about its origins and its journey and where it will end, that would be great“. So the idea of making a film about a traveling stone in an iceberg was born – but how can you tell such a story? Years later, everything came together, the professional freediver Anna von Bötticher accompanied me on a recent trip to Greenland and by chance an iceberg, that resembled a diamond, was found. This iceberg contained countless Kimberlite stones – Kimberlite, a mineral that contains diamonds.
